Blackwood Engineering Ltd is a growing global supplier of metal counterweights and castings based in South Wales. As we become a world-class supplier, we also wish to develop new talent in key roles during this period of growth.
We are looking to develop a recent university graduate in a Project Engineering role who will join our dynamic team of engineers this summer. This role demands a high level of technical engineering knowledge and/or experience. The ability to read and interpret highly technical drawings and support the engineering team to meet the needs of our clients is key.
Applicants must have successfully completed their final year of a BSc or BEng in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline) with an anticipated 2:1 minimum. If you have gained relevant work experience in your gap year placement or through other jobs, then we are keen to hear from you.
Hours of work: Full-time equivalent hours, Monday to Thursday 8:00-5:00pm, Friday 8-1pm
Holidays: 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays
