Blackwood Engineering prides itself on finding the best solution for your company. Providing the best counterweights and castings for your machinery.
Define your requirements
Clearly define your requirements for the counterweights. This includes specifications such as material type, dimensions, weight, and any specific features or tolerances.
Choosing the right foundry
Blackwood engineering will choose our best partner foundry for your castings and counterweights. This will be communicated to you by the commercial and project engineering team.
Quotes for your counterweights and castings
A quote for the goods will be sent to you via the commercial team. You will then be able to speak to the team about any additional needs or amendments to the order.
The team will communicate the quality assurance process throughout the meetings and provide details on testing procedures to ensure the quality of the castings and counterweights.
Samples and prototypes
Samples and Prototypes will be made and sent to the customer for approval.
Discussions about the prototypes will be ongoing. If there are any adjustments from the customer, the team will work together with the customer to adjust the CAD drawing and prototype.
Once the prototype is approved the team will discuss the order and distribution agreement.
When the order has been placed the team will update the customer on a regular basis on their delivery.
