How long will Blackwood Engineering keep your personal data?
Blackwood Engineering will keep your personal data as long as required to fulfill its legal or contractual obligations taking into account, for example, the contractual period, warranty, and no longer than is required for Blackwood Engineering to fulfill the purposes for which the personal data was collected.

In order for our companies to do business efficiently, we hold information about the people we have been asked to communicate with at our suppliers.
We respect a Suppliers’ Representative rights to privacy in their private lives by:- only processing your  personal  data under the legal basis called Legitimate interests, which includes managing our business operations  according  to  lawful and fair practices, and more  specifically,  negotiating,  setting up and managing contracts and  agreements  to  obtain   goods and services from your employer.

What sorts of data do we hold?
- Contact details, such as name, telephone number and email details.
- Organisational data, such as your job title.
- Business to Business paperwork, such as contracts, confidentiality agreements, invoices, credit notes and purchase orders may contain other personal data like signatures.
- A record of all communications with us including emails,  conversations, meetings may be stored
- We do not hold biometric  data on our supplier representatives
- If you are a sole trader, we may hold other personal information about you such as bank details and credit readings.

Your details will usually  have been given to us by your company, a colleague or yourself.
Who will we share this information with ?
We will not share your personal information outside our company unless you agree or we are obliged to for statuary reasons such as legally compliant legitimate official requests from law enforcement agencies.
